Frameless shaker cards

by Sindhu Manokaran

Hello crafty friends ,

Good morning! I am Sindhu  from colorsofcraft. Hope all doing great. Today  I have three frameless  shaker cards to share.

Card 1

■ For this card, I started with stamping the cat image from Mudra Cute Critter Cat set on to a watercolor paper and colored using zig clean brush markers.

■ Then I  created  the stenciled  background with Mudra Chervon builder stencil  and worn lipstick distress oxide. After that I rotate the stencil and used pumice  stone  distress  oxide to complete the Chervon background.

■ I trimmed the panel to 5.25″*4″ and took an acetate of same size for creating the  shakers.

■ I used my sewing machine to stitch both background and the acetate.First I stitched on all three sides leaving one side to fill the sequins.

■ I  stitched using sewing machine, we can also use fuse tool or simple method is to cover the panel with acetate,  and seal it with sticky  tape at the back.

■ After  adding Mudra couture pink sequins and clear sequins , I stitched  the open side.

■ I added the colored cat image to circle die cut and stamped the sentiment from the same set.

■ This is then adhered to the center of the panel using glossy accents.

■ Finally  I mounted the panel to the side folding card base

Card 2

■  For my second  card,  I stamped Mudra Doodle  Spring flowers stamp set on a watercolor paper, colored them with Zig clean brush markers and fuzzy cut them separately.

■ For the background I used Mudra Hexaline stencil ,distress oxide inks squeezed lemonade and cracked pistachio.

■I stitched the card panel and the acetate on three sides and also in the center to create two shakers.

■ I added Mudra couture Radium green sequins & yellow sequins and stitched the side.

■ I arranged the florals and added the sentiment from Mudra Fresh cut roses.

■ Finished this card by adhering the panel to the top folding card base.

Card 3

■ For the third card, I used Mudra  stray triangles Stencil and Picked raspberry  distress oxide and then I moved the stencil little and applied seedless preserves for the background.

■ The stamp used are Mudra The future and Mogra stamp set . The sequins are from Mudra Sugar plum mix.

Hope you all like my cards.
