My name is Archisha from Kenchi School and I am back with a floral card again.
This is a congratulatory card that I created for my dearest friend who recently delivered a baby girl. I absolutely loved how the background turned out with all the drama created by Mudra Gold Couture Sequins.
I first created my flowers and leaves using the Mudra Layering Flower Hydrangea 6×6 Stencil.
I used distress oxide inks to layer and create the pink Hydrangea and its leaves.
For the final layer of the hydrangea i used some shimmer paste to give a new texture.
Lastly, fussy cut the flower and leaves.
For the background, I used Mudra Sky Blue Paperum 8.5×11 Cardstock. I diecut the cardstock with a quilt background details die. I added darker blue shade of oxide ink on the edges of the diecut cardstock.
To add that drama, I filtered the smallest size of gold sequins from my collection and glued them at the notches of the quilted background.
For the sentiment, I stamped out a simple congratulations on a white cardstock and fish cut it out.
