Hello creative souls,
Hope you all are doing well.
This is Monika from UROOCREATIONS.
Today I am going to share beautiful Mixed Media Wall Art. I was inspired to create a love theme project. I have used gorgeous Mudra Chipzebs, Stamps, Stencils, Decor stones, Couture sequins and Mai dye ink pad. I have altered two medium size plastic lids into this beautiful wall art/decoration.
-First cover the both plastic lids with tissue paper using DIY Mod Podge, create some texture with the tissue and dry it completely.
-Make a colourful background by using flat magicals and magical shakers from Lindy’s Stamp Gang. Use a thin brush to move the colours and blend them together. Let it dry completely.
– Take Mudra Chipzeb – Flourish Frame and cut it into two pieces and add on both lids. Add some splatters on the both chipboard pieces by using Lindy’s Stamp Gang – magical shaker (Cuckoo Clock Cardinal).
-Now use Mudra Stamp sets – Wild Rose (4×4) and Dainty Blooms (4×4) along with Mudra – Mai dye ink pad (Jet Black) and Mudra – Impresso acrylic block to stamp a few elements on White card stock. Then fussy cut all the elements.
-Now start making composition on both lids by using clay elements, die cut elements, glue dots, Mudra Chipzeb – Leaves (8×8), Mudra Decor Stones (Micro, Mini and Medium), stamped fussy cut elements, Mudra Couture sequins (Gold) and handmade flowers. Add a few pieces of cheese cloth to fill the empty spaces.
-Use the love sentiments from Mudra Chipzeb – Love Fancy Sentiments #1 (6×6).
-Then add some golden effects by using Finnabair Metallique Wax – Vintage Gold.
-To finish the both pieces add some splatters using Lindy’s Stamp Gang – starburst spray (Edelweiss Moss Green).
I hope you liked this altered mixed media wall art.
