Pictoral of a Magical Fairytale Slimline Card

by Archisha Mukherjee

Hello Crafty Readers,

My name is Archisha Mukherjee from Kenchi School and i have a magical fairytale card for you today.

When poor little Cinderella was transformed into a beautiful damsel by her fairy god mother, a lot of little girls like me, dreamt of having the very same moment.

Well, my fairy god mother has not turned up yet, but I can definitely capture this in a card.

Below is the step by step process to build this card –

Step 1 :

Stamped images from the Mudra Princess 6×4 stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (alcohol marker friendly). Next, I colored them up with my alcohol markers. i also added some details with my white gel pen.

Step 2 :

I heavily covered my Mudra Castel Designer Chipzebs in Versamark ink (or any sticky embossing ink). Next, I heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.

Step 3 :

I die-cut a slimline scallop edge card panel with white cardstock. I also made a random handmade cloud stencil.

Next with a blender brush, Mudra Flamingo Pink, Cornflower Blue and Sky Blue Dye Ink Pad and the handmade cloud stencil, I made some cloud patterns and a horizon. I made these patterns directly on the white cardstock as show in the image above.

Step 4 :

To add more interest in my background, i added some splatters with gold water paint and a water brush pen.

Step 5 :

I stamped the sentiment ‘Always wear your invisible crown’ from the same stamp set with Mudra Mai Jet Black Dye Ink. I used my favorite mudra acrylic block to do the stamping.

              Step 6 :

The last step remaining is to assemble all the parts (my most favorite part). I adhered the chipzeb castle with liquid glue, in line with the ink blended horizon. I stuck the pumpkin buggy, princess and pillow (with the crown on top of it) with foam tape for dimension.

And that completes the magical card !!!! Here are a few closeup shots of the project –
