DIY Shaker Chipzeb Coasters with Archisha

by Archisha Mukherjee

Hello everyone,

It is a brand new day and i have a brand new project today.

My name is Archisha Mukherjee from Kenchi School and i have a very easy and interesting project to amp up your décor during this festive season.

For the first time, I have not made a card or a bookmark or any paper craft but few coasters using the amazing designer Chipzebs by Mudra.

Also, these are not ordinary Chipzeb coasters but shaker coasters !!! (I just tested my hot morning coffee and it makes my mornings so much more  lovely)

My first coaster was created using Mudra Butterfly Circle Frame Chipzeb.

To create a well for my shaker elements, I used 2 rings from the Mudra Nested Circle 3×3 Chipzebs stuck back to back.

Finally, I enclosed one side of the frame with acetate, filled in some shaker elements and enclosed the other end with acetate again.

And the coaster is ready ! Make sure to add some weight on the coaster and let is dry overnight so there is no leakage of shaker elements.

Pretty coaster available the next day for your morning tea/coffee/milk/warm water 🙂

For the second coaster, I used Mudra Butterfly Hexagon Frame Chipzeb.

I repeated the exact same process as above but used some Mudra Nested Hexagon Chipzeb to create the well for my shaker elements instead of the circle. (It is just amazing how these nested Chipzebs lined up exactly with the butterfly frame Chipzebs)
