Masking a stencil with another stencil to create backgrounds

by Meetu Aggarwal

Hello,

Mudra Stamps has got a beautiful and vast collection of stencils. Today, I have used 2 stencils together to create different backgrounds.

The basic technique I have used is, applying a light coat of ink to the base, then keeping the first stencil and applying another color (for this layer, I have used stencil with open spaces) and finally keeping the intricate stencil and applying the inks. Hope I am making sense.

I have used Distress Oxide Inks, blender brushes and blender daubers besides the Mudra Stencils to create these cards.

Hope you liked my cards and thanks for stopping by.

Happy Crafting

Meetu
