DIY Wall Hanging Tutorial and Gift Boxes

by Dr. Monika Tripathi Shukla

Hello creative souls,

Hope you all are doing well 😊 This is Monika Tripathi Shukla from UROOCREATIONS. I am very happy to be here today and going to share my very first Design Team creation with Mudra.

Month of August, in India is all about the beginning of festivals, we also celebrate 15th August as Independence Day and so is our August month challenge at Mudra (challenge #34) .

I am here to share with you all some inspirations for the current month Challenge. A DIY, Wall Hanging and some cute gift boxes for our festive season .

DIY Wall Hanging:

I was inspired by our Indian Flag, so my wall hanging contains the same colours (Saffron, White and Green). As you can see

If you would like to see how I made this DIY Wall Hanging,  please enjoy the step by step video below or in HD on the Mudra YouTube Channel

DIY Gift Boxes:

I made these cute gift boxes for this festive season using my Very own, handmade pattern papers. These boxes can be used in different ways along with gifting purposes or for storing your favourite things, pictures, handmade cards etc. The process is so quick and easy. Please share it with us if you give these a try.

– I stamped on a few white card stocks using stamp sets Wild Rose and Leaves.

– I chose the Leaves stamp set to make the big box and for small boxes I chose Wild Rose stamp set.

– I have used different colours of distress inks to make these boxes colourful. You can choose as you wish.

-After stamping, I turned them into cute boxes, you can explore on Pinterest for some templates to make boxes like this.
